DAVID EUGENE REDDEN, age 65, of Washington CH, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Riverside Methodist Hospital.

He was born on October 9, 1951 in Fayette County to Samuel Sr. and Marietta Goldsberry Redden. He proudly served his country in the US Marines. He had previously worked at the Washington Lumber Company and he enjoyed fishing and horse racing.

David was preceded in death by his parents, his son, David Elmer Redden, as well as two sisters.

Survivors include his three sisters, Patricia Ferguson of Ashboro, North Carolina, Brenda (Ronald) Mickle of Washington CH, Bonnie Callahan of Franklinville, North Carolina; brothers, Samuel (Linda) Redden Jr. of Waco, Texas, Terry (Ruth) Redden of Washington CH, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later day at the convenience of the family.
