DAVID LEE YAHN, age 69, of Washington CH, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 6:03 a.m. at Signature HealthCARE of Fayette County while surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on March 10, 1953 in Fayette County to Nial and Stella (Caudill) Yahn. He was a graduate of Washington High School. David was a 24-year truck driver for the Sugar Creek Packing Company. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He enjoyed music, fishing, and being with his family.

David was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Carol Yeazel, Kenneth Yahn, and Charles Yahn; and the mother of his children, Pamela Jean (McKinney) Yahn.

Survivors include his wife, Debra Kay (Elkins) Yahn; children, Jay (Cindy) Yahn, and Emmy (Zach Huffer) Yahn; and his pride and joy, grandchildren, Addison Yahn, Mason Yahn, and Jax Huffer. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of special friends.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Harlan officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. In keeping with David's wishes, cremation will follow.
