IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Deborah Sue
"Debbie" Fox
May 25, 1956 – September 29, 2025
DEBORAH SUE "DEBBIE" FOX, age 69, of Washington CH, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 29, 2025 at Cedarvale Commons Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.
She was born on May 25, 1956 in Wilmington, Delaware to the late Paul and Florene (Elrod) Fox.
In addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by her brother, Rob Fox.
Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, David and Joy Fox; niece, Jessie (Reed) Maikut; great-nephew, Cru Maikut; and niece, Caitlin Fox.
A proud graduate of Washington High School Class of 1975, Debbie grew up surrounded by family and friends who cherished her vibrant spirit.
She was a lifelong member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, where her faith and congregation were central to her life. Sharing her hope for the future and talking with others about her beliefs brought her immense joy.
Known for her generosity and loyal heart, Debbie was always ready to lend a helping hand. She found joy in life's simple pleasures, playing cards, word searches, reading, singing, cooking, and spending time with her loved ones. Debbie never knew a stranger, and she loved to talk. She was a hard worker from her young teenage years to her adult years as a housecleaner and caregiver.
Her favorite scripture was Revelation 21: 3-4, which gave her comfort in knowing that one day "God will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore."
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1702 US Highway 22 NW, Washington CH, OH 43160.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Summers Funeral Home. Online condolences may be sent to www.summersfunearlhome.com
