DEE HART FOSTER, SR., age 95, of Washington CH, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 19, 2025 at the VA Medical Center in Chillicothe.

He was born on January 8, 1930 in Washington CH to the late Robert Paul and Alice Louis (Raney) Foster. He was a 1949 graduate of Washington High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force until his retirement.

Dee was very artistic. He would rebuild MG cars and sell them as a hobby; he also made stained glass windows for several Churches.

In addition to his parents, Dee was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Paul Foster, Paul Ragland, David Foster, Max Foster, Larry Foster, and Raney Foster; his beloved wife, Sue (Taylor) Foster; and his daughter, Julia Kay (Foster) Batth.

Survivors include his children, Susan Dee Foster, and Dee Hart Foster, Jr.; grandchildren, Troy Batth, Anthony Roberts, Jr., Suzanne Roberts, and Shay Foster; great-grandchildren, Adrianna Williams, Adrian Williams, Adiva Dawson, and Troy Batth, II; and siblings, Donald (Rachel) Foster, Clark (Madolyn) Foster, Lu Ann Harris Ford, and Aaron (Joyce) Foster.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Moses Edward, Jr. officiating with burial to follow at the Washington Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
