DENNIS ALLEN REED, age 81, of South Solon, formerly of Washington CH, passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 4:02 a.m. at the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.

He was born on February 5, 1941 in Franklin County to James and Flora (Henneke) Reed. He proudly served his country in the US Army. Dennis worked as a horse trainer for most of his life and retired from Midland Acres in Bloomingburg. He enjoyed being with his family and had a passion for training.

Dennis was preceded in death by his biological parents and his aunt and uncle who raised him, Robert and Dora Hart.

Survivors include his daughter, Tracy Reed and her boyfriend, Joey George; grandchildren, Brent Copas and Nicholas Copas; and his ex-wife and mother of his daughter, Debbie Reed.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
