DENNIS EDWARD SMITH, age 58, of Washington CH, passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at his home. He was born on September 17, 1963 in Richmond, Indiana to the late L.W. Tiny and Mary Lou Smith.

Survivors include his son, Mason Smith; brothers, Tom Smith and Wayne Smith; sisters, Flossy Parks and Merry Jane Robertson. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and special friends, Scott and Beth Ramsey.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jim (Joyce) Smith.

Dennis was a 1982 graduate of Washington Senior High School and was proud to be part of the Washington Blue Lion Football team who made State Runner-up in 1981. He was a loyal Steelers and OSU Buckeyes fan. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and bowling. He currently worked as a security guard with prior long-term employment at Chapel Door and the Yusa Corporation.

In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 11, 2021 at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Joy Stanforth officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday evening from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
