DEWEY THOMAS KEATON, age 71, of Washington CH, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 11:47 a.m. at the Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born on June 2, 1944 in Williamsport to James and Virgie Johnson Keaton. He had worked at Orient State Hospital and also engaged in farming. He had attended the Heritage Memorial Church. He enjoyed working on car and small engines, cooking, gardening, loved animals and enjoyed his canine companions, Buster and Hannah. Dewey was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters. Survivors include his wife, Wilma Thomas Keaton, whom he married on July 13 1975; also surviving are several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Heritage Memorial Church, 1867 US Rt. 35 NW, with Pastor Bruce Morrison and Pastor Justin Siler officiating with burial to follow at the Bloomingburg Cemetery.
