DILLAN JAY MCCOY, age 27, of Washington CH, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023 at UC Medical Center.

He was born on October 3, 1995 in Gallia County, Ohio to Jonah Daniel McCoy and Penny Sue (Howland). He was a 2014 graduate of Washington High School. Dillan worked in construction until his physical health would not allow him. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, working, and spending time with his family and friends.

Dillan was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Letonda Howland; and brother-in-law, Chuck Tackett, II.

Survivors include his parents; his fiancé, Destiny Tackett; his son, Dillan J. McCoy; siblings, Courtney Danielle McDaniel, Jonah Daniel, Jr. (Cindi) McCoy, Austin Jade McCoy, Logan Lane McCoy, and Conner Ace McCoy; grandfather, Daniel McCoy; uncle, Brad McCoy; and aunt, Peggy Blackburn. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and a host of friends.

Family and friends may visit at the Summers Funeral Home on Sunday, May 7, 2023 from 1-3:00 p.m.
