DONALD A. BONHAM, age 72, of Washington CH, passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at 5:02 p.m. at the Fayette County Memorial Hospital Emergency Room. He was born on November 8, 1943 in Fayette County to Joseph and Mary Vandervort Bonham. He was a 1961 graduate of Good Hope High School. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force. He retired from Mead Container. He had attended the Sugar Creek Methodist Church and was a member of the Shepherd's Club. Don enjoyed raising sheep, hunting, fishing, muzzle loading, camping, cooking over the open fire and watching Westerns. Don was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Bob Bonham. Survivors include his wife, Letty Grooms Bonham, whom he married on April 21, 1969; his children David Bonham and Tony Bonham; sister Carol (David) Brown as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. The funeral service will be held on Monday, December 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Duvall officiating with burial to follow at the Good Hope Cemetery.
