DONALD L. MORRIS, age 77, of Washington CH, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 6:10 p.m. at the Fayette County Memorial Hospital Emergency Room. He was born on September 27, 1937 in Washington CH to James and Mahala Haines Morris. He had formerly been employed by Armco, with Amercian Van Lines Moving Company traveling throughout all of the United States with his wife and TSC. He was a fifty year member of the Bloomingburg Free and Accepted Masons #449. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, reading and his beloved Yorkie, Pooh. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Patsy Hunt Morris and eight brothers and sisters. Survivors include his children Brenda Ewers and David (Tonya) Morris; grandchildren Janelle, Mahala, Dusty and Tabitha; six great-grandchildren; siblings Betty (Jim) Williams, Bobby (Carmen) Morris as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. The graveside committal service will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Bloomingburg Cemetery with Rev. Larry Groves officiating and followed by a Masonic Service.
