DONNA E. SANDERS, age 82, of Washington CH, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2015 at the Court House Manor Nursing Home. She was born on July 20, 1932 in Madison County to Clement and Ethel Beekman Knisley. She was a 1950 graduate of Midway High School. She worked as a bank teller in Springfield and also worked at the Courtview Restaurant for many years. She enjoyed word search puzzles, playing cards, spending time with her family and her beloved poodles. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jack Sanders, siblings Hannah Stocker, Mildred Jones, Gladys McKeever, Kathryn Joslin, Mary Alice Knisley and James Knisley. Survivors include her siblings Betty Hux, Anna Rader and Ed (Marilyn) Knisley as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of family and friends. The graveside committal service will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Highlawn Cemetery with her nephew, Dr. Ralph Hux officiating.
