DOREEN EDITH MAY STEFFENHAGEN, age 82, formerly of Columbus, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at 5:10 p.m. at St. Catherine's Manor. She was born on April 10, 1933 in Ramsgate, England to Albert David and Bertha Violet Gregory. She was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed reading, cooking, bird watching and working puzzles. Doreen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roger William Steffenhagen and her son Mark Joseph Steffenhagen. Survivors include her children Susan Maureen (Mike) Birchfield of Washington CH and William Roger (Peri) Steffenhagen of California; grandchildren Stevie Noelle (William) Steinmetz, Crystel Marie (Jonathan) Squier and William Joseph (Bella) Steffenhagen; siblings David (Fran) Gregory and Sheila Maureen all of England. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday from 2-4 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home of Washington CH. Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of Fayette County, 222 N.
