DOUGLAS JOSEPH DEPUGH, age 26, of Washington CH, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at his home. He was born on August 21, 1989 in Madison County to Michael and Daphne O'Cull Depugh. He was a 2008 graduate of Madison Plains High School and also a graduate of Hobart Welding School. He was a member of the Unity Fellowship Church and had attended the Bookwalter Church of Christ in Christian Union. He enjoyed the great outdoors including hunting, fishing, swimming, and his horse, Turbo. Doug was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Shirley (Walters) Wood and Larry O'Cull, his brother, Ethan Depugh and his uncle, Scott Daniel. Survivors include his parents; siblings Jonathon, and his son Clayton, Aaron, Billy and Sarah Depugh; grandparents Neil and Harriett Depugh; aunts and uncles, Kathy (Chris) Darden, Cindy Daniel, Cheryl Ford, Kristi (Jon) Creamer and Katie (Mark) Bottorff; niece, Reagan Lynn Depugh as well as many cousins and friends. He is also survived by his canine companion, Roxy. The funeral service will be held on Friday, November 20, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Unity Fellowship Church, 4405 Prairie Rd. NW, with Pastor Keith Clary and Rev. Larry Groves officiating with burial to follow at the Hidy Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. and again on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. The church will provide a meal to family and friends immediately following the burial. Arrangements are under the direction of the Summers Funeral Home.
