EARL HAROLD 'WINDY' ROSS, age 87, of Washington CH, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2015 at 10:46 p.m. at his home. He was born on August 28, 1927 in Bainbridge, Ohio to Allan and Lula Mae Crites Ross. He had worked at NCR for over 23 years and retired at the Fayette County Engineers Department after 20 years. He was a member of the Center United Methodist Church and a member of the Masonic Lodge #468 of Jeffersonville. He enjoyed antique power shows, fishing, yard work, repairing old engines, gardening and traveling. Earl was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Ruth Carmen Ross, sons Earl L. Ross and Roger Ross, grandson John Thompson, three brothers and two sisters. Survivors include his daughters Judy Elzey, Patricia Ross and Thelma Ross; ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; also survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of friends. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Center United Methodist Church on Allen Rd., with Danny Dodds officiating with burial to follow at the Milledgeville-Plymouth Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
