EARL G. WILLIAMS, age 81, of Washington CH, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2022 at 2:13 a.m. at Adena Fayette Medical Center.

He was born on August 29, 1940 in Madison County to James Sr. and Carrie (Strausbaugh) Williams. He was a 1960 graduate of Madison Mills High School. Earl had worked for Pennington Bakery, the Layne-Western Company, and H&D Water Treatment Services. He enjoyed "tinkering" with anything and everything, mowing, gardening, and spending special time with him family.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Betty L. (Thomas) Williams, whom he married on April 20, 1981; daughter, Terri Ferguson; granddaughter, Brittany Roberts; and sister, Barbara Jordan.

Survivors include his children, Tracy (Ruthie) Williams of Flag Pond, Tennessee, and Trina (Denny) Satterfield of Washington CH; grandchildren, Trevor Ferguson, Kaitlyn Williams, Taylor Williams, Alyssa Williams, Brad (Somer) Williams, and Ryan (Shannon) Roberts; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Betty (Butch) Williamson, Richard Williams, and Jim Williams, Jr.; step-daughter, Barbara Aills; and step-grandsons, Micah Aills, and Todd Aills. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

The memorial service will be held at the Summers Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday afternoon from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service.
