EDITH ALTHOUSE, age 76, of Washington CH, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at 11:35 a.m. at her home. She was born on April 3, 1940 in Hillsboro to Arthur and Myrtle Perrin Dillon. Edith was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 40 years, Ronald Althouse, brother, Donald Dillon, and sisters, Betty Runnels and Minnie Deitschle. Surviving are her children, Tony (Janet) Richards, Vickie (Edgar) Groves, Connie Richards and Tammy Althouse; granddaughter Brooklyn Leisure, whom she raised since she was nine months old, and Kara Foy, whom she raised until the age of seven; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; sisters Margaret Payton, Mabel Greer, and Martha Tucker as well as several nieces and nephews and special family friend, Jessica Grove. The graveside service will be held on Monday, July 11, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at the Bloomingburg Cemetery with Danny Dodds officiating.
