EDNA MAE HISER, age 84, of Washington CH, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.

She was born on January 30, 1942 in Jeffersonville, Ohio to the late John and Kitty (Turner) Trimble. She was in the last graduating class at Jeffersonville High School. Edna had worked in the deli at Ev’s Fine Foods and then retired from Dress Barn after working twenty-plus years in retail. She was a faithful member at the Fayette Bible Church. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her beloved family and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by her husband and the father of her children, James Hiser, whom she married on August 7, 1965; and her siblings, James Trimble, Joanne Wilson, Joy Schafer, and Raye Brickles.

Survivors include her children, Diane (Bill) Blum, and Mark (Rochelle) Hiser; grandchildren, Jack Blum, Elizabeth Blum, Joel Blum, Jeremy Blum, and Audrey (Jay) Luttrell; one great-granddaughter, Haisley Luttrell; and siblings, Jeanie Evans, Carol Dixon, Howard Trimble, Harold (Candy) Trimble, Joseph Trimble, John (Carolyn) Trimble, and Linda (James) Mongold. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
