EDWARD LEE WARNING, age 82, of Washington CH, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, July 11, 2016 at 12:32 p.m. He was born on December 15, 1933 in Greenfield, Ohio to Willis H. and Florence Mitchell Warning. He was a 1952 graduate of Edward Lee McClain High School. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Ed served as the Fayette County Service Officer for more than 20 years. He was a member and past commander of Post #25, and a member of the Past Chef-de-Gare of Forty & Eight Voiture 888, was a life member of the VFW Post #3762, the local chapter of the DAV and was a life member of the Eagles Lodge #423. He was also a member of the Greenfield Church of Christ. Ed was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Robert Lewis Warning in 1938, his son, Mark Edward Warning in 1958 and niece, Cathy Lynn Richardson. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Mary Ann Vore Warning; his children, Mary Lee Warning (Steve) Daugherty, Harold McKenzie Warning, Charles Edward Warning and Carl Matthew Warning; grandchildren Dustin Edward (Beth) Daugherty, Mary Alyssa Daugherty, Christopher Ryan Warning, Chelsea Nicole Warning; great-grandchild Evie Louise Daughtery; sister, Jacquelene Warning (Dean) Gardner and nephews, Tim and Randy Richardson. Cremation has taken place. A graveside committal service will take place on ***Sunday, July 31, 2016 *** at 3:00 p.m. at the Bainbridge Cemetery with Danny Dodds officiating.
