ELIZABETH A. "LIZ" CHRONISTER, age 75, of Washington CH, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 3:22 p.m. at her home. She was born on May 25, 1940 in Washington D. C. to Frederick and Sarah Lawrence Baxter. She had worked as a federal government employee for more than 37 years and retired in September, 1994. She had attended the Heritage Memorial Church. She was noted for her giving spirit. She also enjoyed shopping, traveling with her husband and her late poodle, Suzette. Liz was preceded in death by her parents, brother Joseph F. Baxter and sister, Joyce M. Young. Survivors include her husband, Bob Chronister, whom she married on February 22, 1958; her son, Robert R. F. Chronister and his wife, Terri; grandchildren Christopher Ryan Chronister, Amanda (Steve) Larimore, Damien Warner and Danielle Shirey and great-grandchild, Faith Larimore. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Heartland Hospice for their excellent care. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Morrison officiating with burial to follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Dayton National Cemetery.
