ELIZABETH C. NOEL, age 86, of Washington CH, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 4:11 p.m. at her home.
She was born on January 11, 1935 in Lewis County, Kentucky to Henry and Retta (Jenkins) Madden. Elizabeth worked as a daycare provider for many years. She attended Anchor Baptist Church when she was able. Elizabeth was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, baking cakes, and being with her beloved family.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Floyd Noel; children, Evelyn Noel and David Noel; great-granddaughter, Tiara Sloane; and siblings, William Taulbe, Mabel Taylor, Jean Noel, Lucinda Fraley, Jessie Taulbe, Aggie Taulbe, Tobiatha Taulbe, Robert Madden, Wadean Rogers, Leo Madden, Joe Madden, Katie Madden, and Goldie Madden.
Survivors include her children, Kathy Nunley, Brenda Noel (Chuck Tincher), and Mike Noel; daughter-in-law, Wanda Noel; grandchildren, Kristy (Brian) Palmer, Jasine (Mark) Wilson, Dwight Vaughn, Brian McTeague, Christina Breedlove-McTeague, Mandy Davison, Kevin Christianberry, Shannon Noel, Amy Noel, Josh Butcher, Justin Bonfield, Sacoyia Noel, and Jessica (Vince) Stein; great-grandchildren, Denver, Ava, Brianna, Brooklyn, Brittney, Sam, Faith, Everick, Warren, Sam, Abby, Charles, Chekay, Joyanna, Dakota, Virginia, Rebel, Alexis, Destiny, Cheyenne, Patricia, Brandy, Kyler, Whitney, Bryce, and Sabrina; and several great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of dear and special friends.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor John Pfeifer officiating with burial to follow at the Highlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
