ERIC ALAN REESE, age 54, of Washington CH, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at his home. His death was sudden and unexpected.

He was born on November 7, 1968 in Fayette County to Terry Lee Reese and Barbara Jean (Rodgers) Seitz. He was a graduate of Lynchburg-Clay High School. Eric attended The Gathering Place Church when his health would allow. He enjoyed bowling, playing PlayStation, watching NASCAR, and was also an avid Ohio State and Cleveland Browns fan.

Eric was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Jessie Reese, and Robert and Anna Jean Rodgers.

Survivors include his father, Terry Reese; his mother, Barbara (Darrell Taylor) Seitz; stepsisters, Penny Sanders, Geraldine Daniels, and Julie Grey; aunts and uncles, Marty (Tammy Lynn) Rodgers, Ron (Nancy) Reese, Sue (Bernie) Brammer, and Pat Reese; and special friends, Daniel Howard, and Linda Mastin. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 30, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at The Gathering Place. 240 Courthouse Parkway, Washington CH, OH 43160, with Pastor John Pfeifer officiating with burial to follow at the Bloomingburg Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the church on Friday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
