EVELYN MAE SMITH, age 84, of Washington CH, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 1:39 a.m. at Mount Carmel Grove City.

She was born on January 26, 1938 in Fayette County to Charles O. and Cathern I. (Graves) Grieves. She was a graduate of Washington High School. Evelyn worked as the Assistant Manager at CVS for over forty years. She was a faithful member at the South Side Church of Christ. Evelyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. She enjoyed attending church and being with her family and friends.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Charles D. "Bucky" Smith, whom she married on March 3, 1966.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Joey and Angie Smith; twin grandsons, Sinjin and Janson Smith; sisters, Nancy Wightman, and Dianna Chaney; and her faithful canine companion, Charlotte. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of dear and special friends.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
