FRANKIE MERRITT, JR., age 64, of Washington CH, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2021 at his home at 11:50 p.m. He was born on May 20, 1957 in Columbus to the late Frank and Virginia Lee (Sheridan) Merritt. In 2016, Frankie married his loving wife, Evelyn Oyer.

Frank was a graduate of Miami Trace High School, he worked as a pipeline inspector for MTSI Pipeline Inspection Company, he enjoyed going hunting and fishing and was a believer in Jesus Christ.

Along with his wife; survivors include; his children; Jasper and (Lanie) Merritt of Kingsfisher, Oklahoma, Shandy Merritt, Brent (Melissa) Merritt all of Omaha, Nebraska, Brittany (Michael) Stetson of White Oak, North Carolina, Angela Oyer of Greenfield, Robert (Cassandra) Litteral and Jamison Merritt of Washington Court House, brothers; Michael R. (Jennifer) Merritt, Steve (Sherry) Merritt of Washington Court House, his sisters; Wendy Merritt of Oklahoma and Margie Sheridan of Washington Court House, twelve grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Frankie was preceded in death by his brothers; Dennis and Terry Merritt and sisters; Rita Lucille Merritt and Sherry Cox.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 17, 2021 in the Washington Cemetery with Pastor Mike Wolfe officiating. No public visitation will be held.
