FREDA M. SHAW, age 85, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at 6:01 p.m. at her home. She was born on October 3, 1928 to Jesse and Lana Turnipseed. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Dorothy Hopkins. Freda is survived by her husband Roger Shaw; daughter Pam Vonhuttenberg; grandchildren Wendi Funk and Quinton Hutten; great-grandchild Sarah Funk; sisters Cris (Bill) Boylan, Jessie Roeder, Paula (John) Mills; brother-in-law Bill (Janet) Shaw as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held in her home with Pastor Jim Kiger officiating at the convenience of the family. She had requested that she be cremated. Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of Fayette County, 222 N. Oakland Ave., Washington CH, OH 43160. Arrangements are under the direction of the Summers Funeral Home.
