Freddie Wade Thomas, age 59, of Washington CH, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2013 at 4:10 p.m. at the Fayette County Memorial Hospital ER.

He was born on March 1, 1954 in Cincinnati to William and Roxie Bott Thomas. He was a retired truck driver. He had worked as an auxiliary police officer in Sabina and had served as a fireman at the Randleman Fire Department in North Carolina. He was a 1973 Miami Trace High School graduate. He loved watching the Cleveland Browns and singing karaoke.

Wade was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Robin Lynn Holtschulte Thomas and by sisters Wanda, Margaret and Sharon.

Survivors include his children Christina (Jerry) Cruz, Shannon Thomas and Travis (Amanda) Thomas; eleven grandchildren; siblings Josie Smalley, Wilma (Tom) Keaton, Andrew (Nevelene) Thomas, Robert (Sue) Thomas, Jerry (Margaret) Thomas, Billy (Norma) Thomas, Linda (Ray) Manns, Ralph (Judy) Thomas, Randy (Sandy) Thomas, Eddie (Donna) Thomas and Stevie (Rosalee) Thomas as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with a gathering of family and friends from 2:00 until the time of the service.
