GARLAND LEE FITZPATRICK JR., age 55, of Greenfield, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 6:14 a.m. at the Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.

He was born on November 11, 1961 in Fayette County to Garland Fitzpatrick Sr. and Woody Watson Sholler. He was a 1980 graduate of Miami Trace High School and proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. Garland enjoyed spending time with his "pride and joy," his grandson, Camden.

Garland was preceded in death by his mother.

Survivors include his children, Wes Fitzpatrick, and Ethan (Destiny) Fitzpatrick; grandson, Camden Lee Fitzpatrick; siblings, Andy (Stacey) Fitzpatrick, Rhonda (Steve) Balahtsis, and Gale Sholler; step-father, Kenny Sholler; also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

In keeping with Mr. Fitzpatrick's wishes, cremation will be observed.
