GEORGE WILLIAM BURLILE, age 60, of Washington CH, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington.

He was born on February 14, 1962 in Fayette County to the late Allen Lester and Helen Beatrice (Seymour) Burlile. He lived all his life in the local area and retired from the Sugar Creek Packing Company. He enjoyed restoring old cars and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Lee (Tackett) Burlile; grandson, Dalton Michael Burlile; and brother, Robert Burlile.

Survivors include his children, William Michael (Nadine) Burlile, and Stacy N. (Justin) Davis; grandchildren, William (Cheyann) Burlile, Landon Burlile, Jalyn Varney, Alexis Varney, Creed Davis, and Cylus Davis; great-grandson, Brantley Burlile; siblings, Hazel Whaley, Evaline Gilmer, and Patricia Burlile; niece, Cindy Hart; nephews, Jacob Hays, and Wayne Copas; and special cousins, Jack and Rebecca Seymour. Also surviving are several other nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
