GEORGIANA EDWARDS, age 99, of Washington CH, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 4:15 p.m. at the Fayette County Memorial Hospital. She was born on July 9, 1915 to William "Joe" and Lynch Dove. She was a graduate of Leesburg High School. She was an excellent cook. She enjoyed refurbishing furniture, gardening crocheting doilies and making clothing for her family. She also worked hand and hand with her husband on the dairy farm for many years where she enjoyed raising chickens, selling eggs but was most passionate about her children and grandchildren. Georgiana was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Burch C. Edwards and son Richard Allen Edwards. Survivors include her children Robert "Bob" Edwards and Carolyn Sue Beverly; grandchildren; Cindy "Gidge" Self and Chad (Michelle) Self; nine great-grandchildren Jimmy, Sommer (Ricky), Tyler (Kristen), Taylor, Skyler and friend Mat, Joycelyn, Austin, Aiden and Caiden; two great-great grandchildren; Lilah and Madelyn; sister Dorothy Merritt; nieces Barb Wollett and Bonnie Smith as well as special friends, Traci and Eddie Johnson. The burial will take place at the convenience of the family at the White Oak Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of Fayette County, 222 N.
