GLORIA JEAN LOWE, age 76, of Washington CH, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 11:20 a.m. at the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.

She was born on March 22, 1946 in Fayette County to the late Willard Bryce and Doris Elizabeth (Hall) Howe. Gloria stayed home to raise her children and then to babysit her grandchildren; she had also worked in the deli at Walmart for several years. She enjoyed collecting angels, crafting, going out with her sisters, and spending time with her beloved family.

In addition to her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by her brother, Lucky Howe.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Ray Lowe, Sr., whom she married on August 31, 1963; her children, Jeanette Lowe, and Donald Ray Lowe, Jr.; grandchildren, Derek (Eric) Bushey, Heather Ackley, Chase Ackley, Gabby Lowe, and Donnie Lowe; and siblings, Billy (Connie) Howe, Deborah (Dennis) Summers, Stony (Vicki) Howe, and Anita Howe. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fairview Cemetery in Jeffersonville with Danny Dodds officiating.
