GORDON NEIL WHITLEY, age 94, of Hillsboro, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2026 at Copper Knoll Health and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born on June 30, 1932 in Scioto County, Ohio to the late Gordon Clayton and Beulah Bernice (Wallace) Whitley. Gordon retired from Kmart in Hillsboro. He enjoyed reading, watching old westerns, and spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Gordon was preceded in death by his daughter, Jane Whitley; and his sister, Shirley (Don) Wallingford.

Survivors include his daughter, Angie Pauley; grandchildren, Shane Rhoads, and Cassie Zimmerman; great-grandchildren, Jordyn (Seth) Hatfield, Collin Zimmerman, and Ava Zimmerman; great-great-granddaughter, Selah Hatfield; and two nephews, Tony Wallingford, and Tim Wallingford.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
