HAROLD "JACK" COLAW, age 65, of Bloomingburg, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at 10:26 p.m. at the Court House Manor Nursing Home. He was born on January 4, 1949 in Columbus to George and Goldie Vanway Colaw. He was a retired truck driver and also worked seasonal at Crop Production in Sabina. He was a 1967 Miami Trace High School graduate. He loved working on all types of cars, fishing, jigsaw puzzles and spending time outdoors. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, his third wife Darlene Justice Colaw and his brother, Cecil Colaw. Survivors include his children Amy (Nick) Morris of Cedarville, Tyler Osborne of Washington CH and Marissa (Larry) Capehart of Bloomingburg; grandchildren Janelle, Devon and Alexis. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Chaplin James Kiger officiating. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial of the cremains will be held at a later date at the Bloomingburg Cemetery.
