HAROLD E. LONGBERRY, age 80, of Washington CH, died on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at 11:15 p.m. at his home.
He was born on November 20, 1934 in Pickaway County to Clarence E. Sr. and Ruth Dorsey Longberry. He was a 1952 graduate of Monroe High School in Pickaway County. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a 30 year civil employee at Rickenbacker and Wright-Patterson Air Force Bases working on restoring aircrafts. He was a member of the Turkey Federation and the Natural Conservative. He enjoyed working and being in nature. He also enjoyed going into old cemeteries and restoring the monuments. He thoroughly enjoyed geneology, loved flowers and was passionate about his children and grandchildren.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, sister Edith Marie Williams and brother, Clarence Longberry Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Wright Longberry, whom he married on August 25, 1957; his children Bret (Tami) Longberry and Brian (Krystal) Longberry; grandchildren Zachary Longberry, Maggie Ruth Longberry, Adam Longberry, Sarah (Joe) Adock, Aaron (Ruthie) Longberry, Andrew Longberry and Brianna Longberry; great-grandchildren Emma Longberry, Drew and Robert Suritt, Lyndi Longberry, Jaxon, Jayden and Zayne Longberry; brothers Clyde Longberry, Robert (Joan) Longberry and special niece Susie Longberry Boone.
A Celebration of a Life Lived will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. There will be no viewing. Cremation was observed.
