HARRY E. ARNOLD, SR., age 93, of Washington CH, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fayette County Memorial Hospital. He was born on August 15, 1921 in Greenfield, to Floyd and Anna Sword Arnold. He was a self-employed mechanic. He proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII. He enjoyed fishing, cutting firewood, spending time with his family and his canine companion, Buddy. Harry was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Hap, Buck and Francis Arnold. Survivors include his children Judy (Terry) Stillings, Marvin (Carol) Arnold, Ruthann Duncan, Harry (Carol) Arnold Jr. and Kenneth (Jean) Arnold; 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; sister Betty Manley; several nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and nephews and cousins and special friend, Lori Frances. The viewing will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2015 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home.
