HELEN B. FUNK INGRAM, age 94, of Washington CH, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016 at 4:47 a.m. at Four Seasons Nursing and Rehab
Center.
She was born on August 2, 1921 in Atlanta, Ohio to Leroy and Helen Stonerock Funk. She had worked at Steen's Department Store, the API, and also, she and her husband, Beechler, owned and operated a honey farm and apple orchard. She loved her family dearly, and also enjoyed cooking and sewing.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Beechler Ingram, grandson, George Ingram, and siblings Gene Funk, Janet Hooks and Edmond Funk as well as her best friend, Charlie Long.
Survivors include her children, Barbara Ingram and Dan (Mary Lou) Ingram; grandchildren Danny "Dee" Ingram Jr., Mike (Diana) Ingram, Rob Armbrust, and Jena Browder; great-grandchildren Heather (Andrew) Fithen, and Deanna (Tyler) Ison; great-great-grandchildren, Caden and Conner Fithen, Camden and Colton Ison; siblings Dale (Myrtle) Funk and Doris (Howard) Russell as well as nieces, nephews.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Chaplin Jeff Davis officiating with burial to follow at the New Holland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
