HENRIETTA CONAWAY, age 81, of Washington CH, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Her death was sudden and unexpected.

She was born on October 28, 1940, in Ross County to the late Willis Gilbert and Alma Frances (Mitchell) Grubb. She was a 1958 graduate of Greenfield McClain High School. Henrietta had worked as a bookkeeper at Stewart's Pharmacy in Greenfield for many years. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandma, and sister. She enjoyed shopping, gardening, cooking, baking, and most of all, she loved being a grandma.

In addition to her parents, Henrietta was preceded in death by her son, Allen Conaway; grandson, Troy Wilson; and sisters-in-law, Phyllis Jean Conaway, and Shirley Ann Souther.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Earl "Kenny" Conaway, whom she married on February 8, 1959; her daughter and son-in-law, Robin (Steve) Wilson; granddaughter, Linsey Howland; great-grandchildren, Camden Conaway and MaCartne Conaway; brother, John (Shirley) Grubb; and brothers-in-law, George Edgar Conaway, and Thomas L. "Tom" Souther. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and burial will be held at the Greenfield Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
