HERBERT PERKINS, age 76, of Hillsboro, formerly of Washington CH, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 8:55 a.m. at the Heartland of Hillsboro Manor. He was born on January 16, 1939 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Chester and Virgie May Perkins. He had worked at Landmark Feed and also at Sugar Creek Packing Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing the guitar and spending time with his family. Herbert is survived by his wife, Joann Gragg Perkins, whom he married on April 8, 1987; his children Brenda (Gordie) Stethem, Tim (Monica) Perkins, Kevin Perkins and Chad Perkins; seven grandchildren, four sisters and one brother.
