IAN ALFONSO EDWIN SANCHEZ, age 10, of Sabina, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at 2:50 p.m. at Nationwide Children's Hospital surrounded by those he loved the most.

He was born on January 11, 2006 in Washington CH, to Harold and Stacey Heacox Sanchez. He was a fourth grade student. He was a member of the Anchor Baptist Church, loved his Sunday School Class and had accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior. Ian enjoyed fishing, soccer, singing, shooting his BB gun, and archery. He also loved his sisters and riding his Ripstick. He was an avid ambassador for the Lifeline of Ohio.

Survivors include his parents, sisters, Karina, Alanna, and Sophia Sanchez; grandparents, Ken and Pam Heacox of Louisville, Kentucky, Glenn and Linda Gilley of Brunswick, Ohio and Jose Sanchez and Carmen Mendez of San Jose, Costa Rica as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and countless Anchor Baptist Church family and friends.

The Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Anchor Baptist Church with Pastor Jeremy Griffith officiating with burial to follow at the Sabina Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will take place at the church on Monday from 5-8 p.m.
