IRENE MAE BROWN MARVIN, age 90, of Washington CH, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 4:32 p.m. at her home.

She was born on August 27, 1926 in Ladd, Ohio to Chester and Cleo Graves Brown. She was a 1944 graduate of Washington High School. Irene retired from Armco in 1982. She was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Washington CH. She enjoyed working in her yard and being with her family and grandchildren.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and love of her life, James Frank Marvin Jr., whom she married on October 20, 1944; and brother, Leonard Brown.

Survivors include her children, Kathy Jo Marvin, and Rita Kay (Rick) Bartruff; grandchildren, Shannon James Bartruff, Shad Alan Bartruff, and Tara Elizabeth (Jacob) Mossbarger; siblings, Chester C. (Wanda) Brown Jr. of Las Vegas, Nevada, Eldon (Judy) Brown of Wisconsin, and Mary Lois Sudweeks of Wisconsin; and her beloved canine companions, Yorkie, Max, and her cat, Callie. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

A private graveside service will take place at Washington Cemetery with Chaplin Jeff Davis officiating.
