IVAN LEROY JOSEPH, age 53, of Washington CH, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2017 at 1:54 p.m. at his brother's home.

He was born on March 23, 1963 in Fayette County to Gary L. and Karen J. Huffman Joseph. He had been employed by the Frozen Food Locker. Ivan enjoyed fishing and watching television.

Ivan was preceded in death by his father, two brothers, Barry and Terry Joseph, and one nephew, Chris Joseph.

Survivors include his mother, Karen Joseph; son, Jason Matthews, siblings; Gary (Tina) Joseph, Larry Joseph, Anthony Joseph, James Joseph and Randy (Amy) Joseph, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends including special caregiver, Ashley Dawn Smith.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Danny Dodds officiating with burial to follow at the Highlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00-8:00 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
