JACQUELINE MADELINE BROWN, age 64, of New Holland, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
She was born on May 9, 1960 in Illinois to the late Jack Harris and Roma (Diehl) Wollscheid. She was a 1979 graduate of Stebbins High School in Dayton, Ohio.
Jacqueline was a member of the American Legion Post 25 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. She was currently the store manager at Save A Lot in Washington CH and had also worked at Rancher's Roast Beef for her brother, Fred Wollscheid.
She enjoyed traveling with her daughter, gardening, being part of the community, and spending time with her friends and family.
In addition to her parents, Jacqueline was preceded in death by her husband, Kurt Brown; her daughter, Laura Ashley Gatton; and brother, Curtis Alcala.
Survivors include her daughter Amanda (Patrick) Wilding; grandchildren, Landyn Driscoll, Rayli Gray, and Griffon Wilding; and siblings, Mike (Linda) Alcala, Chuck Alcala, Monique Dawson, and Fred (Susan) Wollscheid. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of special friends.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal services. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
