JACQUELINE JONES, age 76, of Bloomingburg, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at the Adena Fayette Medical Center while surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on August 28, 1949 in Columbus, Ohio to the late John Henry "Jack" and Helen Marie (Minshall) Sollars. She was a 1967 graduate of Miami Trace High School and attended Ohio University at the Chillicothe Campus. Jacqueline worked several jobs including a bookkeeper for the old J&J Restaurant, a bus aide for Head Start/Community Action, Mary's Bait Shop, and she was also a highly skilled seamstress. She was a faithful member at the Bloomingburg Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed sewing and spending time with her beloved grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Jacqueline was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bradford "Bob" Jones, whom she married on April 8, 1972.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Taylor Jones; grandchildren, Henry Robert Jones, and Hadley Rose Jones; siblings, Rebecca Ellen Sollars, and Michael J. (Marilyn) Sollars; nephew, Brett (Ashley) Sollars; brother-in-law, Kevin (Angie) Jones and their sons, Michael and Jacob; and her lifelong friend, Dr. Vickey Leasure. Also surviving are several other family members and a host of special friends.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will take place at the convenience of the family.
