JAMES A. HART, age 91, of Washington CH, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2016 at 5:35 p.m. at his home. He was born on September 14, 1924 in Wilmington, Ohio to the late Albert and Alta Smith Hart. He proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII. He had retired from Cincinnati Milicron after 31 years of service. He was a well known gun smith, a machinist, a musician, a master craftsman in woodworking, and enjoyed writing poetry. James is survived by his wife, Ruth Robinson Hart, whom he married on August 24, 1951; his children, David Hart and his fiancé, Teresa Shelpman, Nina Hart Mummey and Jamey Hart; grandchildren Travis Hart, Amy Mummey Carver, Tanya Hart and Sarah Hart Webb; several great-grandchildren and siblings, Homer Hart, and Donna (Bob) Cotner. The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 17, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Chaplin Jeff Davis officiating.
