JAMES EDWARD HURLESS, age 61, of Washington CH, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 11:40 a.m. at Fayette County Memorial Hospital.

He was born on May 23, 1956 in Fayette County to Gerald Paul and Bernice Hurless. He was employed with American Tools for over twenty years. He enjoyed watching old western movies and wrestling, being outdoors, and most importantly, being with his family and grandchildren.

James was preceded in death by his parents, an infant child, and brother-in-law, Shelby Martin.

Survivors include his daughters, Kelly (James) Picklesimer, and Kristin (Adam) Olley; his loving grandchildren, Kayla Bieler, Kylan Rowland, Alexis Olley, Kassidy Picklesimer, and Grant Olley; special friend and mother of his children, Dianna Joseph; sister, Judith Martin; and nephew, Bobby Martin.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Olley officiating with burial to follow at the Cochran Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
