JAMES M. "JIMMY" JACKSON, age 44, of Washington CH, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 4:35 p.m. at the Select Specialty Hospital of Columbus. He was born on September 21, 1971 in Washington CH. He was a 1989 Miami Trace High School graduate. He previously had been employed by Showa Aluminum and most recently was employed by Domtar Corporation. Jimmy enjoyed working, attending demolition derbys and Nascar, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends. Jimmy was preceded in death by his step-father, Jim Stevens and grandparents, Mary and Robert Jackson who helped to raise him. Survivors include his mother, Janet Jackson Stevens; his children Kodi, Karena and Kolton Jackson; sister Billie Jo, and her husband, Barry Leslie with whom he made his home for the past nine years and his brother, Rusty Stevens, his nieces, Breanna and Farah Leslie as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. Also surviving is the family canine, Chloe. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with burial to follow at the Highlawn Cemetery.
