JAMES EARL "JIM" BOWEN, age 81, of Jeffersonville, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 10:35 a.m. at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

He was born on July 4, 1939 in Madison County to Paul Earl and Virginia Bella (Long) Bowen. He was a graduate of Jefferson High School in Bowersville, Ohio. Jim retired from International Harvester in Springfield after thirty-three years of service. He was a member of the Jeffersonville Church of Christ. Jim enjoyed spending time with his family and tending to his garden and fruit trees.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Patricia Chance, and Steve Edgington.

Survivors include his loving wife Linda Lou (Webster) Bowen, whom he married on June 16,1960; children, Debra Guisinger, Michael (Lori) Bowen, Thomas Bowen, and Kimberly Sutton; twelve grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and his brother, Mike (Nancy) Edgington.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
