IN LOVING MEMORY OF
James Robert
"Jim" Griffin
April 28, 1959 – June 14, 2025
JAMES ROBERT "JIM" GRIFFIN, age 66, of Jeffersonville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 14, 2025.
He was born on April 28, 1959 at Fayette County Memorial Hospital in Washington CH. The beloved son of the late James and Allie (LeMasters) Griffin.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Griffin; sister, Sharon Riley; and niece, Angie Riley.
He leaves behind a family who loved him deeply: his children, Stephanie (Jason) Roe of Waverly, Shane (Amber) Griffin of Jeffersonville, Ashley Griffin of Fairborn, and Amber Griffin of Fairborn; a proud grandfather to Jordan Pottle, Dustin Griffin, Levi Griffin, Branten Griffin, Jaxson Roe, and Danika Roe. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear family members and friends.
Jim had a zest for life and a passion for all things racing — from drag strips to NASCAR, he was a devoted fan. His incredible talent for woodworking and crafting left behind many beautiful pieces that will be cherished for generations. But beyond his skills and hobbies, Jim was best known for his heart of gold. He was the most caring and giving person, always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His kindness knew no bounds, and he truly never met a stranger.
Jim found joy in spending time with his family, working the land on his tractor, and caring for animals. His heart of gold was evident in everything he did, and he will be remembered for the love, generosity, and warmth he shared with all who knew him.
