JAMES EDWARD "BIMBO" MONGOLD III, age 54, of South Salem, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 4:41 p.m. at the OSU Wexner Medical Center. He was born on December 16, 1961 in Fayette County to the late James Jr. and Jean Russell Mongold. He was employed at the Valley View Nursing Home in Frankfort. He enjoyed working on his 1987 Chevrolet truck, the great outdoors, and fishing. James is survived by his children, Melissa (Paul) Miller, Amber Mongold, and Miquela Mongold and James Edward Mongold IV; four grandchildren; siblings Steve (Cindy) Mongold, Rebecca Gail (Chuck) Varney, Jackie Mongold, and Mary (Kevin) Leisure as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Also surviving is his partner, Jamie Clark. The funeral service will be held on Monday, May 2, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Charles Varney officiating with burial to follow at the Milledgeville-Plymouth Cemetery.
