JAMES "OLLIE" TACKETT, age 76, of Frankfort, passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 11:45 p.m. at the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.

He was born on October 25, 1945 in Johnson County, Kentucky to Henry and Rushie (Caudill) Tackett. Ollie worked most of his life as a farmer. He enjoyed coon hunting and spending time with his family.

Ollie was preceded in death by his parents; his children, Dale Tackett, and Tracey Kelley; siblings, Richard Tackett, George Tackett, Jack Caudill, Kermit Tackett, Wanda Copas, Brenda Burlile, Virgil Tackett, and Mance "Foster" Tackett; and his beloved canine companion, Foxy.

Survivors include his loving wife, Vickie "Anna" (Stroup) Tackett, whom he married on April 5, 2003; his children, Wayne Brown, and Pam Russell; step-children, Bill, Mike, Joe, and Ronda; grandchildren, Tyler, Ashley, Wesley, Dylan, Tesla, Terrance, Aaliyah, Hunter, Karter, Lucas, Aiden, Rilee, Nova, Davy, Dusty, Devvin, Dustin, Shiann, Veronica, Briyar, Victoria, Vanessa, Austin, Ocean, Harley, and Kayana; numerous great-grandchildren; and siblings, Emmy (Sis) Tackett, Kemmard Tackett, and Bill (Pat) Tackett. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 1-3:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home, 223 W. Market St., Washington CH, OH 43160. In keeping with his wishes, cremation will follow.
