JAMES R. "JIMMY" WOOLUMS, age 55, of Wilmington, formerly of Washington CH, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2014 at his home. He was born on April 16, 1959 in Wilmington to James Edward and Joan Smith Woolums. He was a member of the VFW #3762, the American Legion #125 and the United State Trotting Association. He enjoyed horses and spending time with his family and friends. James was proceded in death by his father James Woolums. Survivors include his mother Joan Woolums of Phoenix; his son Allen and his wife Ashley Woolums of Washington CH; six grandchildren; siblings Charles Woolums and Velvet Woolums both of Phoenix; as well as special friends Kenny, Ally, Estle, Charlene and Deb and Don and Jackie Ashpaugh. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Dow Tippin officiating.
