JANE LEE MCCORMICK, age 68, of Wilmington, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Court House Manor where she had been a patient since January.

She was born on December 5, 1954 in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky to the late Lutie Ann Kuhn. She was a 1973 graduate of Miami Trace High School. Jane was currently employed at Alkermes Pharmaceutical Company out of Wilmington, Ohio where she worked as a Senior Buyer. She attended the Sabina Church of Christ. She enjoyed walking, gardening, and spending time with her beloved dog, Ollie.

In addition to her mother, Jane was preceded in death by her brother, Michael McCormick.

Survivors include her sister, Jackie R. Ditmer; half-brother, Brent (Norma) McCormick; and aunt, Linda Shewmaker. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of dear and special friends.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, May 19, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Pastor Troy Villars officiating with burial to follow at the Highlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
